UserCallableStatement in Resin 4.0
Forum Index » Resin Server Q&A
Author Message

I have upgrade the resin 2.0 to Resin 4.0.
In my application we use OracleCallableStatement for resin 2.0 but
in resin 4.0 it shows exception as

java.lang.ClassCastException: com.caucho.sql.UserCallableStatement cannot be cast to oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleCallableStatement.

so i want to know what is difference between UserCallableStatement and OracleCallableStatement.

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

Hi LarryWalker

Depending on the version of JAVA, the version of JDBC Driver is different.
Also, depending on the version of Resin, the versions of compatible JDK are different.

Resin ver. 2.0 -> jdk 1.4 or more
3.0 -> jdk 1.4 or more
3.1 -> jdk 1.5 or more
4.1 -> jdk 1.6 or more
You need to verify that the jdbc driver is correct for the version.
